Swordfight
Two silhouettes were on the cliff, facing each other. Both were [starting to] fight over a rare relic , a diamond with something inside, rumored to be some soul or blood. They pull out their swords, and they parried for a bit, the expensive metal colliding and making a shrill clang sound throughout the landscape. One tried to thrust his sharp sword into the other's heart, but it was blocked, another clang sounding again. They struggled to make their opponent release their weapons, both failing until one succeeds, the sword slipping out of the first's grip.
"Well, then." -second
"...just end it already." -first
"If you wish." He stood over the first, about to stab him in the chest. Suddenly, he was punched square in the face, spiraling backwards, almost off the cliff.
"Heh, tricked yet again." The first snickers, grabbing the diamond and jumping over the second and off the cliff, landing in water.

A ginger male cat walks into the gate and into the window of the house, where a white female cat was asleep, her small body rising and falling as she breathes while sleeping. The male looks at her. She was his crush for a long while, since they were kits, and now they were adults...that feeling kinda grew dramatically today. The cat wakes up.
"Hey." She smiled up at the male.
"Hello. Are you rested?"
"Yes, but... my owner might catch you. You must get out." She too had feelings for him, but she was just worried, that's all.
"Oh." His ears droop, taking it the wrong way. "Well, bye." He walks out, tail low.
"Wait, I didn't mean it that wa-" Sadly, the male was already gone.
She didn't have the chance to express her love for him.
He was gone.
Not to come back.
